OUR COLOUR SERVICES EXPLAINED …

At Mode Our award winning team offers a variety of colouring treatments to refresh your hair or completely re-do your look. Our treatments span a Root Regrowth all the way to a full Colour change. All colour treatments include the option to be done by Martin Crean, a Senior stylist or a stylist so you can pick the best fit for you.

ROOT REGROWTH

Root Regrowth is the part of hair closest to your scalp - a root regrowth treatment is typically used to soften the regrowth line of a previous colour treatment and create a more cohesive, blended look.

BALAYAGE

Balayage is a professional highlighting technique where dye is placed onto the hair using a brush to create totally natural-looking colour tones. Balayage is a softer look compared to highlights, with highlights the hair is more saturated with your chosen colour and balayage is a way of painting the colour onto the hair from the mid-lengths to the ends creating a subtle look.

TINTS

A Full tint for short or long hair helps refresh your colour in a softer way. Tinting is a method in which the dye acts superficially, affecting mainly the outer layer of your hair.

TOP SECTION / HALF HEAD / FULL HEAD

Top section, Half head and Full head colour treatments indicate the areas for placing colour. The top section refers to the top and crown area, with half / full head colour treatments being applied tohalf or all of your hair.

FLASHES

Flashes brings just subtle flashes of lighter tones to your hair.

TONER

Our Toner is perfect to refresh your hair in a non permanent way, it helps protect and enrich your hair colour - a toner is perfect for blonde or platinum hair to refresh your look and banish yellow dull tones.

FULL COLOUR CHANGE

A full colour change includes covering your entire hair in one colour that is usually different to your current colour - this can range from a reboot of colour, brunette going a bit darker in colour or a much bigger job of changing brunette hair to blonde hair!
